As the saying goes, there’s a time and a place for everything. Do you believe that? If so, can you extend it to yourself and your current situation?
Part of my coaching philosophy stems from the belief that you are where you’re supposed to be. Right now. I know that can be difficult to believe when things aren’t going well, when projects aren’t getting done on time, when money is tight, or when your team feels out of sync with the overall organizational goals. But consider all of this your challenge! You can be the transformative figure to get everything on track.
You are where you are, right this very second, because you’re meant to rise above your current challenges and come through the other side a better, stronger leader with a believing and loyal team who has witnessed you work through adversity for the better of all involved.
When things that seem like setbacks are viewed as opportunities, you will begin to see your current situation in a different light. It might take a bit of time to get there, but you’ll soon begin to see actual value in it.
A good way to get started on this journey is to answer the following questions:
- How am I currently dealing with this opportunity?
- What does this all mean for me as a leader?
- Why do I matter? Why does it matter where I am right now?
- What am I going to do next?
I work with mid-to-senior level leaders to help them understand this truth and to begin maximizing where they are. Learn More
